Geriatric and Special Needs Accommodations

We have designed an exclusive living room and private suites through which we provide daycare and hotel amenities for dogs over the age of eight. These accommodations also meet the needs of a dog who requires extra care due to non-contagious medical conditions. The living room is furnished with comfortable lounge chairs, a T.V., a fire place and our state-of-the-art indoor K9 grass. We have coinciding private hotel suites within this nurturing space that provide orthopedic bedding and soft music. While barking is natural and expected, dogs who bark incessantly will not be permitted in the geriatric area.

Medication

If your pet requires pharmaceutical treatment while under our care, our trained staff is available to administer prescribed medications between 6:00am and 7:00pm. Our staff is competent in the administration of pills and syrups, creams and powders, and eye/ear drops. Medications are typically given at morning and evening feeding times; however, specific schedule requests can be implemented if written in the Medical Directive.

Bark-A-Bout Geriatric Hotel offers all the amenities of our five-star Canine Hotel which special attention given to the needs of our geriatric and specials needs guests.

Rehabilitation Hotel 

Bark-A-Bout offers a specialized Rehabilitation Hotel Package designed for dogs recovering from non-contagious illness or surgery. Your dog is settled into a private hotel suite that provides a comfortable bed. Here your dog will receive plenty of water, lots of love and attention, and will be taken on walks within the facility if no exercise restrictions are advised.We will administer prescribed medication and lovingly supervise dogs that cannot be left at home for long periods of time. This service gives peace of mind to our clients, because they know that their dog is receiving watchful care during recovery.

For your convenience and peace-of-mind, we provide a 24 hour webcam on which you may observe your dog from anywhere on-line. If you would like to remain on-site, we additionally provide a second story Cafe & Viewing Lounge where you may relax, enjoy a snack and watch your loved one on closed circuit monitors.

Hotel Checkout

Checkout time is at 12:00 noon. A late fee will apply if dogs are picked up after 12:00 noon
